Hardwick Hall Derbyshire
Client: The National Trust
Grade I listed Hardwick Hall is one of Britain’s most important Elizabethan houses. Rodney Melville and Partners have been the National Trust’s Architect for Hardwick for the last 30 years and, through the compilation of a Conservation Management Plan, have built up a special understanding of the House and its history, construction and people.
We have undertaken many extensive programmes of repair, the design of museum rooms for the display of fragile textiles, the repair and refurbishment of the South Stable Range to provide new visitor facilities including retail and catering spaces and the design of a new visitor reception building.
