Aoife attended the Queen’s University of Belfast (RIBA Part I) and the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (RIBA Part 2) and was elected a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects 2009. She is also registered as an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation. Aoife became an Associate of the Practice in 2013 and a Director in 2019.

Aoife has a special interest in sustainable development and the creation of contemporary interventions within historic and environmentally sensitive contexts. She has experience in urban design, conservation and regeneration, master planning and the development of new build and conservation projects across a range of sectors including cultural, education and residential.

Specialist areas of work include:

  • Feasibility studies and master planning
  • Use of contemporary design in historic and environmentally sensitive contexts
  • Sustainable development
  • Managing complex projects within very restricted parameters
  • Presentation mediums

Aoife is a member of the Bristol Heritage Forum and an affiliate member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.
